Initiated on November 16, 2023, and completed ahead of schedule, this project involved the meticulous resurfacing of the airport’s apron, which had experienced significant wear over two decades. The renovation not only revitalized the apron but also included vital enhancements to Taxiways “Bravo” and “Charlie,” improving the airport’s operational efficiency and safety standards.
This achievement was celebrated in a grand unveiling ceremony, attended by government dignitaries including Prime Minister Dr. Terrance Drew and Minister of Tourism Marsha Henderson, who praised the project for its timely and budget-compliant execution.
